Student Response System

Student Response System is a wireless response system that provides teachers means to actively engage students in the classrooms. Teachers can pose questions in between lectures and allow students to respond with personal response units or clickers, as the device is called.

Student Response System, are being adopted by classrooms all over the country and are transforming traditionally passive lecture courses into stimulating and active classes thereby increasing the child's engagements in the classroom.

Classroom benefits of Student Response System​​

• Students are encouraged to commit to answers anonymously in class so their knowledge is not revealed publicly.
• Students' answers are recorded and tabulated afterwards so they receive credit based on their own responses.
• Immediate feedback is provided for students and the instructor about a particular question.
• SRS supports the teachers in asking questions, allowing students to discuss with peer(s), & re-polling.
• Teachers are able to understand the level to which the concept has been clear to the students by conducting concept tests (assessing knowledge from current lecture module, previous lecture, or previous course) and gives her instant feedback allowing him/ her to mould or review the way of teaching the concept.
• Saves the teacher from routine tasks like preparing assessments reports and preparing bar graphs and charts to review the whole class performance.
• ​Helps in addressing student attention deficits during a class. Example: Presenting questions at 20 min intervals, thereby requiring students to shift their attention and actively participate in the learning process.
